Cenure (Center of Nutrition Research) was established on 23 April 2012. This research centre is officially founded with the support of Diponegoro University Institute for Research and Community Services (in Bahasa this institute is called LPPM/Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat). This research centre has been initiated to contribute to the development of nutrition research for Indonesian society. Administratively, this research centre is managed within The Faculty of Medicine, Diponegoro University. However, practically regarding the research itself is a multidisciplinary approach.
Our vision is to support our world-class research university by promoting translational research of nutrition and contributing to precision nutrition development. The mission of Cenure is to promote translational research of food, nutrition, and life-cycle with a high societal burden that will contribute to precision nutrition and lifestyle approaches.
Cenure has conducted research and publications that encompasses the entire spectrum of basic, translational, clinical, public health nutrition and food sciences, providing Cenure with a distinct (i.e. multidiscipline) health sciences profile that optimally fits Diponegoro University and Faculty of Medicine profile. The department of nutrition science, is currently taking the lead of this research center.
